Whenever Memorial Day comes around, the kids always start to plan a barbeque by the pool to spend some time outdoors. Like them, I don’t plan on spending too much time in the kitchen so I will prepare dishes that don’t require too much time. Mini Hawaiian pizzas are the perfect snack to enjoy the holiday. Kids love them, we only need a few ingredients and in just 30 minutes we’ll have a delicious appetizing dish. MORE + LESS -

Ingredients

tube Pillsbury™ classic refrigerated pizza crust
1
can Muir Glen™ organic pizza sauce
1
cup of pepperoni slices
2
cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
1
cup of diced pineapple

    Preheat the oven to 425° F.
  • 2
    Place the Pillsbury pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and stretch out with the help of a rolling pin.

    Use a cup or knife to cut out several circles of dough to make the mini pizzas.
  • 4
    Cover each circle in pizza sauce, pepperoni slices, mozzarella cheese and diced pineapple.
  • 5
    Place the pizzas in the oven and remove from the heat when the dough looks toasted and cheese has melted.

    Serve immediately.

Expert Tips

  • You can use freshly diced pineapple or use those that come canned in syrup. Be sure to strain them well so the dough stays crunchy.
