Valentine’s Day is a great occasion to celebrate with loved ones, so every year I celebrate at home with my husband and children. What am I making for dinner? Something no one can resist: a heart shaped pizza with pepperoni hearts! Dare to try something fun, it’s fast and easy!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Classic Crust Pizza Crust
  • 4-5 tablespoons of tomato sauce
  • 5 slices of cheese
  • 5-7 slices of pepperoni

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 425° F.
  • 2
    Cut a piece of parchment paper to fit in your baking dish.

    Open the pizza dough and carefully unroll.
  • 4
    Place the dough on the parchment paper.
  • 5
    Using your hands, stretch out the dough to an even thickness.

    Use a small knife, trace out the heart.
  • 7
    Use scissors to cut out the heart and paper by following the outline you made.

    Place the heart shaped dough in the baking dish. Bake for 8 minutes.

    Cut the pepperonis into little heart and fold them down the middle.

    Use scissors to cut out the shape.

    Remove the dough from the oven and spread the tomato sauce on top.

    Cover the dough with cheese.

    Place the pepperoni on top of the cheese.

    Bake for 8-10 minutes until the dough is golden brown and the cheese has melted. Serve hot.

Expert Tips

  • tip 1
    With the left over dough, you can make dessert by creating sticks and rolling them through cinnamon and sugar. Twist both ends to create a spiral, place on parchment paper and bake for 14 minutes. You can do the same with parmesan cheese and garlic.
