Ingredients

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Layers Original Biscuits (8 Count)
  • 1 can (16 oz) refried black or pinto beans (2 cups)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Oaxaca or mozzarella cheese (6 oz)
  • 2 cups fresh pico de gallo salsa

Directions

    Heat oven to 375°F. Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Split each biscuit. Place biscuit halves* on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool on cookie sheet 2 minutes before removing to cooling rack.

    Once biscuits are cool enough to handle, place 2 heaping tablespoons beans on each half biscuit; top with 1 to 2 tablespoons shredded cheese. Place back on cookie sheet. Bake 6 to 9 minutes or until cheese is melted.

    Serve each mollete topped with pico de gallo.

    *Split each biscuit into two-layer biscuit-circles. Do not cut biscuits in half.
