Expert Tips

Place these desserts where they can remain very cold.

Here in Florida the summer brings with it a lot of heat and we like going to the beach with our families. To save time and money, I like to take a basket and cooler with tasty appetizers, drinks, sandwiches and snack to organize a picnic at the beach. This is why I want to share this tasty beach-friendly recipe. En-joy!

Directions

  • 1 Place 4 ramekins with lids in a container that fits in your freezer. Pour 1/2 cup of yogurt in each and let freeze for 30 minutes or until it sets.
  • 2 Then add the blueberries and pieces of granola bar and freeze for another 30 minutes.
  • 3 Place the lids on the ramekins to transport. Take this snack to the beach, they're very convenient because they can remain frozen and won't go bad. When you’re ready to serve them they will have the consisten-cy of snow or ice cream.
