This berry crumble is a super versatile recipe because you can create many variations of it. It is perfect to serve in the afternoons with you tea or for dessert. Ingredients

For the crumble:

  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Nature Valley™ Protein oats 'n honey granola
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

For the filling:

  • 2 cups berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries or strawberries)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

To garnish:

  • Vanilla ice cream, to taste

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375 °F.

    For the crumble: Combine butter, flour, granola and sugar until it’s all mixed into crumbs. Set aside.

    For the filling: In a bowl, combine berries, butter, sugar, cornstarch and lemon juice.

    Add mixed berries to a large baking dish. Cover the fruits with the crumble and bake for 20 minutes or until it looks golden. Remove from oven, let cool for 10 minutes and serve with a side of vanilla ice cream.
