Make waffle sandwiches for lunch using leftover waffles. Add ham, cheese and veggies for a fun lunch idea.

Directions

  • 1 Preheat waffle iron.
  • 2 Open package and separate cinnamon rolls. With hands, flatten each dough round to 1/2-inch thickness.
  • 3 Once waffle iron is preheated, spray with nonstick cooking spray, place one flatten cinnamon round on each waffle grid and cook until golden and crisp, about 2-3 minutes. Repeat until all waffles are made.
  • 4 Place cooked waffles on a baking sheet and place in a warm oven until ready to serve.
  • 5 To make frosting, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar and salt until light and fluffy.
  • 6 In a small bowl, mash blackberries with a fork, stir into cream cheese frosting.
