Expert Tips

If you don’t have cinnamon sugar, combine 1/4 sugar and 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon and stir well.

Directions

  • 1 Preheat the oven to 350 °F.
  • 2 Open the Pillsbury™ package and unroll over a cutting board. Cut the dough through the middle. Leave half set aside. Use your fingers to close the perforated lines of each triangle of the other half to seal the dough completely.
  • 3 Add a generous amount of cinnamon sugar over this half of dough.
  • 4 Roll the dough carefully so it’s nice and tight. Sprinkle with more cinnamon sugar on top. Use a knife to cut 1/2 inch rolls.
  • 5 Cover a baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
  • 6 Take one of the triangles from the other half of dough and cut in half to create an isosceles triangle (long on top). Use the knife to cute a straight line down to the middle (these will be ears). Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top and place one of the rolls on top of the lower part of the triangle. Lift the tips to hug the roll. Place on the baking dish and fold the ears to your liking.
  • 7 Repeat until you’re done with all the bunnies.
  • 8 Bake for 8-10 minutes or until they’ve browned. Remove from the oven and let sit for 5 minutes. You can serve immediately or decorate.
  • 9 To decorate:
  • 10 Stir the powdered sugar with milk until you have a glaze. Chop the chocolate truffle into small pieces (these will be the eyes) and chop the fruit snacks to form the nose.
  • 11 Pour the glaze over each bunny and decorate with the truffle and fruit snack.
