Raspberry, Strawberry and Pear Juice

Besides being delicious, natural juices are a great way to stay refreshed and hydrated. Personally, I like making them at home whenever I have the time because I can use the fruits I like or create my own combination of fruits and veggies. If you want your family to eat more fruits, this is an excellent way to entice them. If you like thicker juices you can add vanilla yogurt or your favorite flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 pears Bartlett o Anjou, diced
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 1/4 cups Cascadian Farm™ organic frozen strawberries
  • 1 1/4 cups Cascadian Farm™ organic frozen raspberries
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons of light agave or brown sugar

Directions

  • 1
    Wash, peel and cut the pears into small cubes.
  • 2
    Place all the ingredients, including half of the water, into a blender. Blend until you have a thick mixture.

    Pour into a jar, add the rest of the water, the lemon juice and sweeten to your liking.

    You can add a cup of little pieces of carrots if you like.

    You can also use peaches or any other frozen fruit in the place of raspberries.
