Desserts are a regular affair in our home; my kids look forward to desert time all day! Offering them whole grain food that doubles as a sweet treat is something that I feel good about, too. Whole grain recipes need not always be the entrée, and I love that my kids get added benefits, even in their after-dinner treat.
Multi Grain Cheerios™, combined with quinoa flakes and dried fruit, and slathered in gooey marshmallows is a great combination of flavors. Kid and mom approved!
