To assemble the dessert, place rounded sides of 7 whole ladyfingers vertically along each long side of 9x5-inch loaf pan pan, and 3 ladyfingers vertically along each short side of pan. (If ladyfingers are too long, cut tops and keep pieces for layering.) Spread softened strawberry ice cream in bottom of pan inside ladyfingers. Lay 7 ladyfingers flat over top of ice cream. Layer vanilla ice cream over ladyfingers. Lay remaining 7 ladyfingers flat over top of ice cream. Cover; freeze at least 4 hours or overnight.
