Chocolate and avocado desserts are really popular, and this smoothie is no exception. The delicious combination of chocolate and avocado has become the latest trend. It may sound weird to many because we’re used to eating avocados in savory dishes like guacamole, but avocado is a healthy and versatile ingredient that can be eaten in savory and sweet dishes. Avocado and Greek yogurt make this smoothie so soft and creamy that you’ll think you’re having a delicious chocolate dessert.


  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup Yoplait® Greek yogurt regular
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    Blend the milk, yogurt, avocado, cocoa powder, honey, chia seeds, vanilla and ground cinnamon until you get a smooth and creamy mixture.

    Pour the mixture into a small pot and heat over medium-high heat. Let it cook for 3-5 minutes until the mixture is thick. Remove from heat.

    Pour the mixture into a cup. Sprinkle with chia seeds. Enjoy!

  • Give this hot smoothie a tropical flavor by using coconut milk.
