If you’ve never tasted a warm smoothie, this warm banana smoothie with cinnamon is the perfect recipe to make. My children love starting their day with a creamy smoothie. Preparing their smoothies is part of our morning routine before I take them to school. They love trying new flavors, but this banana, cinnamon and powder cocoa smoothie is one of their favorites. They love the combination of banana with chocolate and cinnamon, and I love serving it hot or cold, depending on the time of the year.

  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons Yoplait® Greek Yogurt Plain
  • 1 banana
  • 2 tablespoons oatmeal
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon nuts, finely chopped

    Blend the milk, Greek yogurt, oatmeal, banana, cocoa powder and ground cinnamon until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

    Pour the mixture into a small pot. Heat up over medium-high heat for 1 to 2 minutes, until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat.

    Pour the warm smoothie into a cup and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Enjoy!
