It’s that time of the year once again. Time to get out the slow cooker and make the most of all the leftovers from holiday parties. In addition to making sandwiches, one of the best ways to use leftovers is by making delicious soups. And winter is the perfect time to make these kinds of delicious hearty meals. Another great benefit of soups is that you can freeze them and use them on another occasion. One of my favorite soups is a ham and white bean soup, and it’s one of the recipes that we always make whenever we have leftover ham, even if it’s mostly the bone.
