Chronic fatigue and lack of energy seems to be one of the most prevalent problems of our time, caused mainly by lack of sleep, stress, and a poor diet. Luckily, there are many natural ways to keep yourself energized when all you can think of is fluffy pillows and teddy bears. Maca is a Peruvian superfood from the Andes that has been used since the time of the Incas for endurance and energy. Start adding it to your vegetable juices or smoothies, and you will soon start feeling the difference in your body.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 banana
  • 2 dried prunes, soaked
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 to 4 kale leaves
  • 1 teaspoon maca root powder

Directions

    Process all the ingredients in a blender and serve.
