Everyone loves donuts so much they forget the little pieces of dough that come from the middle. These mini donuts holes bake up quick and will be gone in no time. Try them as a great after school snack or Friday night movie treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened baking cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar, to garnish

Directions

    In a bowl whisk to combine all ingredients. In a small sauce pan add about 2 inches of vegetable oil. Heat oil to 350 °F.

    When oil is hot, drop batter by spoonfuls into hot oil, trying not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until lightly golden (they fry quickly so watch them carefully).

    Drain and serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar.
