Birthday celebrations always call for a delicious cake to enjoy with loved ones. This is why I want to share my recipe for this European-style cinnamon cake with pear. Ingredients

box of Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ French vanilla cake mix

eggs
1
cup milk
1/2
cup applesauce
1
jar of pear preserves
1
teaspoon raw cane sugar
1
teaspoon cinnamon

    Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • 2
    Pour the cake mix into the mixer bowl and add the eggs, milk and apple sauce. Whip for 2 minutes. Grease a round cake mold and add the cake mix. Cut the pear into slices and add on top. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

    Bake for 30 minutes until it browns.

    Remove from the oven, let cool and remove from the mold.

    Serve on a nice dish and enjoy with coffee or tea.

Expert Tips

  • You can use apple instead of pear.
