Chorizo Kale Pizza

Last week I made a delicious chorizo and kale pizza for some friends who dropped in unexpectedly. Since their visit was a surprise, I had to come up with something quick. To make it, I used Pillsbury™ pre-made dough, chorizo, red peppers, chopped kale and chopped jalapeño. I love kale, but I know some people are not used to having it in pizza so I chopped it finely. The pizza was delicious and a total success.


  • 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Classic Crust Pizza Crust
  • Tomato sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Cooked chorizo
  • Red bell pepper, chopped
  • Kale, chopped
  • Jalapeño chili, chopped

    Preheat the oven to 350°F.

    Prepare the pizza dough following the instructions in the package.

    Add a tablespoon of sauce on the dough and spread it evenly over the entire surface.

    Cover the pizza with mozzarella cheese and bake until it melts, for about 10 minutes.

    Remove the pizza from the oven and cover it with cooked chorizo. Add the chopped kale, chopped red bell pepper and chopped jalapeño.

    Put the chorizo kale pizza in the oven for 5 more minutes. Slice it and enjoy!
