Remember when you were little and couldn't fall asleep? In my case, my mom would come to soothe me a glass of warm milk and, like magic, it would relax me and make me sleepy immediately. I get the same effect when I add a slice of toast, it's a winning combination: carbs and dairy. Years later I discovered cappelletti and they've become a kind of comfort food for my family. After a nice plate of this pasta, I always feel refreshed, relaxed, calm and able to overcome anything I may be faced with. I recommend trying it out and prepare a dish of cappelletti when you feel anxious or unrest. There's no need to suffer if you can calm yourself with this delicious paste. Ingredients

1 1/2
lb. meat cappelletti
2
cups of heavy cream
Salt and pepper
2
cups of green asparagus
Parmesan cheese

    Boil water in a pot at high heat. Add salt.

    Pour the cappelletti in and cook for 10 minutes.

    Add the asparagus and cook 4 more minutes or until the asparagus has softened and the cappelletti are almost how you like them.

    In the meantime, boil the cream in a large saucepan. Season with salt and pepper and let it reduce a bit.

    Strain the cappelletti and pour into the saucepan with the cream. Stir well and serve immediately with parmesan cheese.

    Serve with a green salad.

Expert Tips

  • You can use half & half instead of heavy cream.
  • Add broccoli or chopped spinach.
  • You can add diced ham.
