Expert Tips

Substitute vanilla with orange extract or omit cocoa for an original version.

Everyone loves donuts so much they forget the little pieces of dough that come from the middle. These mini donuts holes bake up quick and will be gone in no time. Try them as a great after school snack or Friday night movie treat.

Directions

  • 1 In a bowl whisk to combine all ingredients. In a small sauce pan add about 2 inches of vegetable oil. Heat oil to 350 ºF.
  • 2 When oil is hot, drop batter by spoonfuls into hot oil, trying not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until lightly golden (they fry quickly so watch them carefully).
  • 3 Drain and serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar.
