Expert Tips

Use other fruit such as mango and peaches.

With summer approaching, we started improving our eating habits to get us ready for swimsuit season. We’ve added more fruits and veggies to our meals and started a daily exercise routine. I walk my son to school everyday and start my mornings off with a fruit and veggie smoothie. But there's one treat I just can't remove from my life: s'mores! So I've decided to create a more nutritional version by adding berries to it!

Directions

  • 1 Preheat broiler.
  • 2 Break crackers in half to form squares and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • 3 Place 4 marshmallow halves on each graham cracker square. Place in broiler for 1 minute until all marshmallows begin to char. Remove from broiler.
  • 4 Immediately and carefully, place chocolate on top of hot marshmallow and a few berries. Top with other graham cracker square and half press down to meld and seal ingredients together.
