  • 1
Prepare the popcorn in the microwave according to their instructions. Remove carefully and let cool. Place the popcorn on a tray lined with parchment paper. Make sure it's one even layer.
  • 2
In the meantime, place the chunks of white chocolate in a microwave-safe container. Cook for 30-second intervals and with the help of a silicone spatula or wooden spoon, stir and repeat the process as many times you need. Add 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil to help soften it, if you like.
  • 3
Once the chocolate is soft, remove from the microwave and add the orange, lime and coconut flakes as well as the macadamias and chunks of candied pineapple. Mix with a wooden spoon and immediately sprinkle over the popcorn using the spoon, do this carefully so that all the ingredients stick.
  • 4
Place the tray in the refrigerator for 5 minutes so that the chocolate hardens and the ingredients stick. Then cut the bars with a knife and enjoy!

Expert Tips

  • If you don't want to use the microwave to melt the chocolate, use the double boil method.
  • You can add coconut extract to the melted chocolate to give it a more tropical flavor.
  • Put the bars away in a container with a lid at room temperature.
