This recipe for strawberry margarita popsicles is prepared with fresh strawberries, lemon juice, sugar, tequila and orange liquor. The key ingredient for preparing margaritas is tequila, but some people choose to add a little orange liquor. You can also adapt this recipe for strawberry margarita popsicles to use other fruits, such as mangos, blackberries, watermelon, or your preferred favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb strawberries
  • 1/2 cup tequila (to taste)
  • 5 tablespoons orange liquor
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Directions

    Blend the strawberries, lemon juice and sugar in a food processor or blender. Add the tequila and orange liquor.

    Divide the mixture into six popsicle molds and place in the freezer. Let freeze for two hours.

    To serve, quickly dip the bottom of the popsicle mold in hot water to remove the popsicles without hassle.
