Ingredients

chicken breasts, skinless

oz fresh mushrooms, sliced

teaspoon thyme

cup grated white onion

cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste

cups Progresso™ chicken broth

tablespoon cornstarch
Fresh cilantro or parsley to serve

    Add the chicken to the slow cooker, add the rest of the ingredients on top and cook at low heat for 4 hours or until the chicken is tender.

    Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and set aside. Add the cornstarch and whip until soft.

    Return the chicken to the slow cooker and continue cooking until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.

  • Use chicken thighs instead of chicken breast.
