This pumpkin and potato baby food recipe is a great introduction to solid food for your baby. I recommend starting with a soft creamy texture that you can make thicker as your baby gets accustomed to it. MORE + LESS -

Blend the pumpkin and potato with two tablespoons of the water they were cooked in. If necessary, add a bit more water.

Expert Tips

  • You can use seedless green or yellow squash instead of pumpkin.
  • You can add half a carrot or half a cup of well-cooked lean meat or boiled chicken breast. You can also add half a teaspoon of olive oil when blending.
