My stepdaughter is graduating and I've been thinking up ideas for the event. Since my stepdaughter loves pink, I've created these pink lemonade cupcakes with my own special touch. I invite you to try these tasty cupcakes with me; you might just want to recreate them for your daughters. Enjoy! MORE + LESS -

Ingredients

package of pink lemonade-flavored cake mix

eggs
1/2
cup of canola oil

cup of water
1
jar of pink lemonade-flavored frosting
1/3
cup lemon juice
2
tablespoons lemon zest
Sugar decorations for pastries

    Prepare the cupcake mix as per their instructions.

    Place cupcake liners in the molds and add equal parts of the mixture into each mold. Don’t fill is up to much, fill it up approximately half way. Bake at 350°F for about 30 to 35 minutes.

    When they're ready, remove from the oven and let cool.

    To prepare the frosting, open the container and whip the frosting with a spoon, add the lemon juice and continue mixing until the flavors are well combined. Adding natural juices highlights the flavors and gives the pastry a fresh taste.

    Decorate with lemon zest and decorative sugar. Place one flower in the middle to they look a bit more professional. These cupcakes are very simple and who doesn't like a tasty cupcakes when celebrating?

Expert Tips

  • You can substitute the lemon juice and zest with orange.
