In Spanish, the passion fruit has many names. I know it as maracuyá, but it’s also called parchita, chinola, or parcha and it’s the main ingredient in this recipe. This delicious treat, simply called passion fruit dessert, is a recipe I learned from my mother many years ago. It was very common for people to come by my house just to ask for it and it’s a tradition that seems to have followed us to this country as well. Basically you combine the passion fruit juice with condensed milk and cream. It’s so delicious that I’m sure you’ll come back to this recipe time and time again!
