Making your very own trail mix is as fun as eating it. When my family and I travel, I like to prepare individual trail mix snack bags for everyone. Keep yours in airtight bags to give you energy and keep you satisfied until your next meal. You can customize and make your very own by adding your favorite dried fruits and nuts. My personal favorite is dried papaya and cranberries. For added sweetness, I like to include bits of chocolate and offset it with salty pistachios for a perfectly flavored snack on the go!
