I love burgers! They’re delicious, easy to make and can be prepared almost any way. One of my favorites is lamb burgers, especially how they’re made in Greek restaurants. It’s important to have good bread and, of course, to serve with traditional tzatziki, a sauce made of yogurt and cucumber. Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the tzatziki

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup shredded cucumber
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 pinch of fresh dill
  • Burger buns

Serve with

  • 1/4 cup arugula
  • 1 tablespoon feta cheese

Directions

    Mix the ground lamb with garlic, mint, salt, and pepper.

    Form fist-sized balls and gently flatten them with your hands.

    Heat up a grill or pan with a little olive oil and brown the burgers.

    Meanwhile, combine the yogurt, shredded cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and dill.

    Place the lamb burgers on the bun and cover with tzatziki.

    Serve with some arugula leaves and a little feta cheese.
