Peruvian Arroz con Pollo
Iced Hazelnut Coffee Coolers
cup instant coffee (dry)
cup hazelnut-flavored nondairy liquid creamer
teaspoon ground cinnamon
water ice cubes
In medium bowl, stir coffee, creamer, sugar, water and cinnamon until coffee is dissolved.
Pour coffee mixture into 2 ice cube trays. Freeze at least 3 hours until hardened. Transfer frozen coffee cubes to plastic storage container or freezer bag.
For each serving, place 2 coffee cubes, 2/3 cup milk and 4 water ice cubes in blender. Cover; blend on high speed about 20 seconds or until blended and slightly slushy. Pour into glass.
Pick your favorite flavor for this cool coffee drink. Try Irish cream-, amaretto- or French vanilla-flavored nondairy liquid creamer.
Look for the nondairy liquid creamer in the dairy case next to the whipping cream.
Top this coffee cooler with a dollop of whipped cream, a dash of ground cinnamon and a couple of hazelnuts (filberts).
