These granola and oatmeal bars are perfect for a quick breakfast or when you want a snack in the middle of the morning. I’m always looking for new snacks to try, and these oatmeal bars are crispy and super delicious. MORE + LESS -


whole cups quick-cooking oats
cup granola with fruit
tablespoons butter
cup brown sugar
tablespoons honey or agave nectar

    Mix the oats and granola in a medium-sized bowl.

    Melt the butter with the sugar and agave nectar, and let it cook until you start seeing bubbles and it takes a light brown color.

    Pour over the oats and granola bars, and mix with a spatula.

    Pour the mix into a rectangular pan, previously greased with coconut or vegetable cooking spray.

    Make it as thick as you want, place a sheet of wax paper over it or use another pan. Be careful not to burn yourself with the hot mixture. I recommend using oven mitts.

    Cool down at room temperature for 2 hours. Cut the oatmeal bars into any size you want with a sharp knife.

Expert Tips

  • If you want, you can add some puffed rice and chopped nuts.
  • You can also add raisins or any dry fruits you want. You can store the bars in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
