These bites are super easy to make. They’re ideal for everyone and any occasion: they are packed with energy, are delicious, and kids love them! This is my favorite recipe because it has some of my favorite ingredients: chocolate, dates and a combination of super seeds. Try it!

Ingredients

  • 14 dates, pits removed
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon raisins
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup hemp seeds
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate powder
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch Himalayan pink salt or sea salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions

  • 1
Add the dates and raisins to a food processor and process until you only have a few large pieces left.
  • 2
Add the rest of the ingredients (except chocolate chips) and process until everything is well combined. Add the chocolate chips and combine.
  • 3
Spread out the dough on a baking tray. Freeze for 30-60 minutes to harden. Remove from freezer and cut into squares. Serve or keep frozen until ready to serve.

  • For a lower sugar option, leave out the raisins.
  • To make it sweeter, add 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup.
