Easy, Colorful Easter Cupcakes

These Easter cupcakes are not only adorable, but they’re also delicious! Spring and Easter are right around the corner, and these easy cupcakes are a menu-must when it comes to spoiling family and friends. You can combine and layer as many different colors as you’d like… this treat is sure to be a hit. Try this sweet recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 package white Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup plain, Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • Pink, green and blue food coloring
  • 1 package white, Betty Crocker™ Whipped fluffy white frosting
  • Colored sprinkles, to taste

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 350 °F. Line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.

    In a medium-sized bowl, stir together the white cake mix with eggs, yogurt, milk and oil. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are fully combined. Pour the mix into 3 different bowls, dividing it into 3 equal parts. Add 4-5 drops of food coloring to eat bowl of batter. In the end, you’ll have 3 different colors. Fill 1/3 of each cupcake mold/liner with 1 of the colors, and add additional layers of alternating colors. Repeat until all the batter has been used.

    Bake for 20-25 minutes, remove the cupcakes from the cupcake mold and let cool completely.

    Frost the cupcakes and add sprinkles.

  • Be careful not to fill the cupcake molds/liners to the top with batter, or they’ll overflow as they bake.
  • You can use any color food coloring or sprinkles that you like.
