Ingredients

tablespoon vegetable oil

clove garlic, finely chopped

cups cubed cooked chicken breast or turkey

cups frozen mixed vegetables (from 12-oz bag)

cup chopped celery

1/4

cup chopped onion

teaspoon tomato bouillon with chicken flavor

1/4

teaspoon dried thyme leaves

bay leaf

cups reduced-sodium chicken broth

cup uncooked alphabet macaroni

In 4-quart saucepan or Dutch oven, heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic; cook and stir 1 minute.

Stir in all remaining ingredients except macaroni. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; stir in macaroni. Simmer 12 to 15 minutes or until macaroni and vegetables are tender. Remove bay leaf. If desired, season to taste with salt and pepper.
