Chocolate pudding is one of my favorite desserts, it can be easily prepared and its taste is soft, thick and creamy. You can prepare it in many different way and always looks wonderful. It’s a great idea to always have a box of pudding at hand just in case you have unexpected guests; I'm sure they’ll love it. You might be asking yourself what's the different between mousse and pudding. Pudding has a thick and creamy consistency whereas mousse is just as creamy, but much lighter.

Ingredients

  • 1 package instant chocolate pudding
  • 2 cups low fat milk cold
  • 7 oz of black chocolate
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream (heavy cream)
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt

Directions

  • 1
Combine the pudding with two cups of cold milk then mix well until uniform and separate into cups.
  • 2
Melt the dark chocolate in 3 parts of 30 seconds in the microwave or use the double boil method if you prefer. The microwave is a bit easier, that's why I recommend it.
  • 3
When the chocolate has melted, add the cream and mix again, add a pink of sea salt and stir well. Now pour over the pudding. Let cool and serve with chunks of hazelnut.

Expert Tips

  • tip 1
You can use vanilla pudding or any other pudding you like instead of chocolate.
  • tip 2
You can also add nuts or almonds instead of hazelnuts, or use strawberries or blueberries.
