You don’t need an oven to prepare these delicious Cheerios™ amaranth and nut bars. You only need to mix all the ingredients and enjoy this crunchy and flavorful snack. cups Cheerios™ Cereal
cup nuts
cup honey
cup sugar
tablespoons butter

    Mix the Cheerios™ with the nuts in a bowl.

    In a pot, heat up the honey, sugar, and butter, stirring constantly until it boils. Remove from the fire.

    Add the hot mix in the Cheerios™ bowl, stirring so all the ingredients mix well.

    Put the parchment paper in a baking dish and pour the mixture over it. Press with a spatula or a spoon to get an even layer. Put it in the fridge for 30 minutes or until you see it’s hard and can cut it with a knife.

    Cut the bars into any size you want.

Expert Tips

  • You can also add pieces of dry coconut or pineapple if you want to give the bars a tropical touch.
