Sometimes I’m just in the mood for a colorful and stylish drink. This one is a perfect blue and it’s great if you are having a gathering or party, its rich color and flavorful will leave every one asking for more... and you will find yourself running to the market to get more berries. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 4 tablespoons blue curacao
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh blueberries
  • Ice, to taste
  • Blueberries, for garnish

Directions

  • 1
Rinse, half and place the blueberries in a cocktail shaker. Give them a quick muddle.
  • 2
Add the remaining ingredients to the shaker, including the ice.
  • 3
Shake vigorously (you need the blueberries to release their color and taste) for about 2 minutes.
  • 4
Strain the liquid into a martini glass.
  • 5
Garnish with 3 blueberries on a cocktail stick.
  • 6
    Enjoy!

Expert Tips

  • tip 1
If the end product is too strong in alcohol for your taste, you can make this drink lighter by adding a splash of club soda or lime soda.
  • tip 2
When drinks like this one are not served over ice, it’s always a great idea to keep the ingredients well refrigerated before starting to prepare the drinks.
