Ingredients

  • 2 boxes Fruit by the Foot™ Variety Pack
  • Black frosting
  • 3 medium-sized yellow marshmallows
  • 1 brush
  • 1 large round cookie (2.5" approximately in diameter)

Directions

  • 1
Unroll the Fruit by the Foot™ "Color by the Foot" flavor.
  • 2
Using the green color, cut out strips of approximately 1" x 0.5".
  • 3
Cut out small triangles from the orange color to make the beaks.
  • 4
Use the black frosting to paint two small eyes at the top of each marshmallow with your brush, and then add the beak.
  • 5
Place your chicks in the middle of the cookie and then place the green strips around them to form the nest. Use a toothpick or pin to move the green strips around until you're satisfied with the look.

Expert Tips

  • tip 1
For the beaks, it's a good idea to double up the orange triangles so they're stronger and more vibrant.
  • tip 2
Roll together a few of the green strips to give the nest a bit more volume.
