Expert Tips

You may substitute salmon or red snapper for sea bass. You may also add vegetables, if you wish.

Father’s Day is a day of celebration for the whole family, a day for Dad to celebrate with his children. On this day, the best gift you can give Dad is a dinner jointly prepared by every member of the family. One such example is this delicious fish fillet – easy to make, but delicious nonetheless. I’m sure Dad will feel like a king on this day.

Do not open the pan while it’s cooking, otherwise the steam will escape.

Directions

  • 1 Cut the fish fillet into 4 pieces, season with salt and pepper; refrigerate until you’re ready to cook it.
  • 2 Heat oven to 350°F.
  • 3 Grease the bottom of a rectangular baking pan (9” x 13”) with approximately a teaspoon of olive oil and use a cooking brush to spread it around the pan, to keep the potatoes from sticking to it. Another option for this step would be olive oil spray.
  • 4 Add the sliced potatoes and place the onions and garlic over them. Place the pieces of fish over the bed of potatoes and onions. Pour the remaining oil and parsley over the fish.
  • 5 Cover and seal the pan well with aluminum foil. Put it in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the potatoes and onions are tender.
