Expert Tips

Plan ahead: cook an extra batch of these chia pancakes, allow to cool completely and freeze for later.

Thanks to the help of Bisquick™ Original baking mix, these pancakes can easily be whipped up in no time. We're sprucing up the mix by adding chia seeds that are a great source of fiber, and topping them with sweet chopped kiwi.

Directions

  • 1 Combine chopped kiwi and agave, sugar or honey. Place in fridge until ready to serve.
  • 2 In a large bowl stir together milk and chia seeds; allow to sit for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and stir until blended.
  • 3 Pour by 1/4 cup onto hot greased griddle. Cook until edges bubble, flip and cook additional 2 minutes.
  • 4 Place on baking sheet and place in a warm oven until all pancakes are cooked.
  • 5 Serve chia pancakes with butter, maple syrup and topped with kiwi.
