Cool off with a delicious dulce de leche paleta, the perfect spring treat. Creamy and with a hint of cinnamon, these paletas are easy to make using store-bought dulce de leche.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dulce de leche

Directions

    In a large non-stick saucepan, simmer milk and heavy cream. Mix in vanilla extract, ground cinnamon and salt, and whisk. Add dulce de leche and whisk until mixture is smooth. Remove from heat, cool completely. Once cool, pour into paleta molds. Insert popsicle sticks and place in freezer until frozen, about 4 hours.

    Use small Dixie™ cups if you don't have paleta molds.

    Place this mixture in an ice cream machine to make ice cream instead of paletas.
