As a busy mom, I'm always searching for ways to feed my kids inexpensive yet wholesome snacks. My babies are growing into big kids; they’re hungry every two hours and at that rate, I run out of snack ideas pretty quickly! These yogurt banana pops are a hit in our home. Since we always have Yoplait® Go-gurts, bananas, and various toppings on-hand, this nutritious snack recipe can be made and enjoyed at any time of the day. Use crumbled granola bars (my kids love Nature Valley's brand) and enjoy as a healthy, quick breakfast. MORE + LESS -

bananas, cut in half

cup yogurt
Topping of choice

    Use skewers to pierce banana halves. On a plate, spread out your various toppings.

    With a spoon, cover the top half of the banana with yogurt. Coat liberally so that the toppings adhere.

    Immediately roll the yogurt-covered banana with the topping of your choice and place on a wax-paper lined tray. Once you have all your bananas assembled, place in the freezer for 2 hours or overnight to harden.

    Enjoy like you would a popsicle!

  • We love getting creative with our toppings: Use sprinkles for a festive flair. Add chocolate chips for a sweet addition. Nuts are always a great option. Or mix jam with the yogurt for a fruit flavored touch.
