Strawberry Jam

Breakfast has always been one of the most important meals in my family. When we have company over during the holidays, it becomes part of an even bigger ritual in which our family members and friends come together to enjoy a delicious meal, a perfect way to start the day. Apart from hot coffee, rolls are must-have at the table; this is especially the case when they’re fresh from the oven. I usually buy Grands!™ biscuit dough and make my own jams to spread onto the hot bread. One of my favorites is apple, since you can make it in a slow cooker and it turns out delicious every time. Another simple recipe is this Strawberry Jam, an ideal spread for any time of day, whenever you’re craving something fruity. MORE + LESS -

Ingredients

cup fresh strawberries, cut in small pieces and de-stemmed
2
cups sugar
Juice from 1/2 lime
1
tablespoon water

Directions

    Put all ingredients in a frying pan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar begins to dissolve and caramelize. Serve in jars and reheat in a double boiler before serving.
