Anybody who follows my food adventures here at Qué Rica Vida knows that I often talk about my beloved, adopted city of Mexicali, Mexico. Mostly because the food rocks down there! About ten years ago, during the fall, I was there for the big Fiesta Del Sol (Festival of the Sun.) It is basically the biggest carnival I've ever seen in my life. It's a huge party featuring loads of rides, food, drinks and bands. There is so much to see, hear and taste! It was at this wonderful festival where I first tasted shrimp potato tacos. It was love at first bite! I've been making them at home ever since. I constantly switch up on the salsas I put on them to vary them up a bit. If you're looking for a new food-addiction in your life, go ahead and make these! MORE + LESS -
