Pizza Muffins

These mini pizzas in muffin form are perfect bite-size treats for any occasion, from a family gathering to an afterschool snack. My kids love this recipe! Plus, whipping up these muffins is fun, for both kids and adults alike!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rolls (8 Count)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 lb Italian sausage
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 375 °F.

    Spray a muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • 3
    Roll out the dough and separate into 8 triangles. Arrange 1 triangle in the bottom of each individual muffin mold for the pizza crust.

    In a small container, mix the sauce, pepperoni, sausage and 1/4 cup of cheese. Pour 2 tablespoons of this mix over the crust and cover with an additional 1 teaspoon of cheese.

    Bake for 16-18 minutes or until the muffins are slightly golden. Remove from the oven and take out of pan.

    Serve immediately.

  • To change up the pizza flavor, use ham, basil, chicken, mushrooms or any other of your favorite pizza toppings in the saucy mix.
