My son loves fresh fruit, especially when I top it off with whipped cream… it’s delicious. April 30th is Children’s Day and to celebrate at home we decided to prepare this delicious fruit pizza. The presentation is very pretty and I’m sure your little ones are going to love helping out with decorating this delicious and colorful dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup of whipped cream
  • 1 cup of fresh fruits cut into slices

Directions

  • 1
Heat the oven to 375° F.
  • 2
Spray cooking spray on the pizza mold.
  • 3
Place the cookie mixture, melted butter and egg in a bowl. Mix until you have a soft dough.
  • 4
Place the dough at the bottom of the mold until it’s flat. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Once it’s ready let it cool completely, about 45 minutes.
  • 5
Whip the cream in another bowl and slowly add the frosting.
  • 6
Cover the pizza and the cream.
  • 7
Decorate the pizza with the kids by covering with colorful and delicious fruits, and now you’re ready to enjoy it! If you prefer it to be cold, you can refrigerate it for 20 minutes after decorating. It’s a perfect snack for hot days.
