Fruit by the Foot™ Star Decorations

The stars and stripes from the American flag are can always be found as decorations on the 4th of July. In this case, it will be in the form of a star.

Ingredients

  • 1 slice of square bread
  • 1 box of Fruit by the Foot™ Flavor Mixers
  • 1 large round cookie (2.5 inches in diameter, approximately)
  • 2 tablespoons of cream cheese
  • Small star-shaped cookie cutter

Directions

  • 1
    Toast the bread a little, and then cover with cream cheese.
  • 2
    Cut the bread into strips with a knife.
  • 3
    Open and unroll the blue and red Fruit by the Foot™. Roll each strip of bread in each color leaving white space in between.

    Make a circle with the sticks.
  • 5
    Cover the cookie in cream cheese and place in the middle of the sticks.

    Cut out a small piece of wax paper and trace the star using the marker. Flip the paper.
  • 7
    Unroll one red Fruit by the Foot™ and cut into small pieces to cover the drawing of the star.
  • 8
    Use scissors to cut out the star and throw out the wax paper. Place the Fruit by the Foot™ star on top of the cookie.
