Most mornings before I begin my day, I sit and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. Some days I crave a breakfast panini, either sweet or savory. When I’m in a savory mod, I like lots of green veggies scrambled in egg, a light sprinkle of cheese and a slice of prosciutto. When I’m in a sweet mood, I like to go all out and prepare a banana and hazelnut chocolate spread panini. With freshly-made bread, I feel like I am sitting in a lovely café bakery enjoying my breakfast. MORE + LESS -

Ingredients

can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Layers refrigerated Original biscuits
All-purpose flour, for dusting

13-oz jar of hazelnut and chocolate spread
1
banana, sliced

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Divide the biscuit dough in 8 sections. On a floured surface, roll each section into a flat square of approximately 1/4-inch.

    On an ungreased baking sheet, place flattened dough sections and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

    Remove from oven and let cool. Carefully split flat biscuit open with a knife. Stuff with chocolate hazelnut spread, slices of banana and enjoy.

  • You can include just about any fruit you wish.
  • Enjoy with a piping cup of warm coffee or a glass of cold milk.
