Expert Tips

Stilton is a pungent English blue cheese. Another blue cheese, such as Gorgonzola or American blue cheese, could be substituted.

Chives lose their flavor when dried, so try to use fresh chives.

Directions

  • 1 In large bowl, stir cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce and mustard until blended. Stir in Cheddar and Stilton cheeses, bell peppers and chives.
  • 2 Divide cheese mixture in half. Shape each half into a log. Roll logs in walnuts. Wrap each log separately in plastic wrap or waxed paper. Refrigerate about 2 hours or until firm.
  • 3 Place cheese logs on serving platter. Serve with apple slices and crackers.
