If you don't have fresh basil, use 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley and add 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves.

Directions

  • 1 Cook and drain pasta as directed on package, adding asparagus during last 3 to 4 minutes of cooking.
  • 2 Return pasta mixture to saucepan. Stir in ham, lemon peel, garlic and oil. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until hot. Stir in basil. Sprinkle with cheese.
