Ingredients

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 4 cups condensed milk (32 ozs)
  • 1liter white rum
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, freshly ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon angostura bitters
  • Maraschino cherries, for garnish

Directions

    In a large deep bowl, mix the eggs and condensed milk with the help of a mixer. Gradually add the rum, nutmeg and cinnamon. Last, incorporate the bitter and mix well.

    Pour the mixture into jars with lids.

    Refrigerate for 15 days.

    Enjoy 15 days after preparing the mixture.

  • Be sure to use good quality white rum to get the best flavor.
  • Use freshly ground nutmeg to retain the taste.
  • The bitter is an important addition. This aromatic ingredient gives the drink an important accent.
